Domestic Situation: Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady in south and in California this week. By-products were steady to higher in the south and steady in California.
 
In the south, long grain rice price quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 44.00-45.00; medium grain prices were steady, quoted mostly at 40.00-42.00 in very tight supply; parboiled quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 47.00-48.00; second heads were steady, instances 2.00 higher in Louisiana, quoted mostly at 28.50-29.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 27.00. Rice by-products: Offers for rice bran were steady to 10.00 higher; millfeed was steady to 10.00 higher; hulls were steady.
 
In California, medium grain milled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly at 45.00-46.50; short grain prices were steady; second heads were steady, quoted mostly at 28.00-30.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 25.00-27.00. Rice bran was steady, quoted mostly at 135.00-140.00; rice hulls were steady.
