Indicative rice export prices in Thailand were mostly lower Wednesday from Friday despite a strong demand in the market and the prevailing general tightness in supplies.

Thai 100% grade B was offered Wednesday at $980 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $960 PMT, FOB, while parboiled 100% sortexed was indicated at $1,000 PMT, FOB. These prices are lower by around $20 from price offers last Friday.
