Vietnamese indicative rice export prices rose Wednesday from Friday on strong demand of rice for shipment abroad even as most suppliers were busy gathering supplies for outstanding contracts.

Vietnam's 5% broken surged Wednesday to $1,000 PMT, FOB from an indicative price of $750 PMT last Friday.
