The Philippines National Food Authority has announced the Philippines has bought 72,000 MT of long grain 4% broken of rice from the U.S for shipment between June and September this year.

The contract price ranged between US $838-US $840 PMT, FOB. The NFA, however, is still negotiating for freight costs, currently ranging from US $218-US $230 PMT.
