Thailand rice export prices soared anew in the week to Monday as most exporters continued to scour for the grain amid dwindling rice supplies.

Prices broke the $700 PMT level as exporters continued to scamper for supply to fulfill outstanding contracts, with most not making offers.

Thai 100% grade B was indicated Monday at $720-$730 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $710-$715 PMT, FOB and parboiled at $700 PMT, FOB. These prices are higher by up to $100 PMT from price indications given a week earlier.
