Chicago Board of Trade rice futures closed higher Friday on follow-through buying and bullish fundamentals.

May rice closed 37 cents higher at $19.67 1/2 per cwt up $1.64 on the week. November rice finished 23 cents higher at $17.69, up 99 cents on the week.
