Thailand Rice Export Prices Higher On Tight Supplies

The indicative export prices of Thai rice rose sharply in the week to Monday as tight export supplies continued to boost prices.

Thai 100% grade B was indicated Monday at $620-$625 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $610-$615 PMT, FOB and parboiled at $660-$670 PMT, FOB. These prices are higher by $40-$50 from price indications given a week earlier.
