The Rice Exporters Association of Thailand are planning to hold talks with the Vietnam Food Association to discuss rice trading cooperation among the two agencies in an effort to ensure less volatility in export prices.

Rice Exporters Association, REA, president Chookiat Ophaswongse hoped that the cooperation would help boost fair competition and avoid price-cutting to create stable prices and narrow the export price gap between the two countries.
