Domestic Situation: Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady to 1.25 higher in the south and steady in California. By-products were mostly steady to higher in the south and in steady California.
 
In the south, long grain rice prices were steady to instances 1.25 higher, quoted mostly at 22.00-23.00; medium grain prices were steady, quoted mostly at 24.00-24.50; parboiled rice prices were steady to firm, quoted mostly at 25.00; second heads were steady to instances 25 cents higher, quoted mostly at 16.00-16.75; brewers were steady to instances 25 cents higher, quoted
mostly at 15.50-16.75. Rice by-products: Offers for rice bran were steady to 5.00 higher, Arkansas mostly quoted from 105.00-115.00; millfeed was steady; hulls were steady.
 
In California, medium grain milled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly at 27.00; short grain prices were steady; second heads were steady, quoted mostly at 19.50-20.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 16.00. Rice bran was steady; rice hulls were steady.
