Physical rice export prices in Thailand were unchanged Thursday as surging export demand in Thailand continued to support offers at higher levels.

Most of the fresh demand involves parboiled rice, as traditional buyers of Indian parboiled have now shifted to Thailand to secure their import requirements afetr India's recent ban on non Basmati rice.

Thai 100% grade B was offered steady Thursday at $359-$370 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $355-$359 and parboiled 100% sortexed at $380-$385 PMT, FOB.
