Thailand rice export prices continued to rise in the week to Monday due to the ongoing strong overseas demand ignited by the absence of Vietnamese and Indian exporters. A steady appreciation of the baht against the dollar has also kept Thai prices at higher levels. Thai 100% grade B was offered at $350-$355 PMT, FOB while 5% broken was offered around $345-$350 PMT, FOB. These prices are up to $5 higher. Parboiled 100% sortexed was offered $4 higher at $374 PMT, FOB. |
