Physical rice export prices in Thailand were unchanged Thursday amid strong demand as the absence of other suppliers in the region kept prices at higher levels.

Strong demand in the market is also exerting pressure on domestic supply even as farmers have already started harvesting a major crop.

Thai 100% grade B was offered steady Thursday at $341-$350 PMT, FOB and 5% broken at $332-$342 PMT, FOB while parboiled 100% sortexed was at $358-$360 PMT, FOB.
