Physical rice export prices in Thailand were higher Thursday supported by a stronger baht as exporters continue to receive fresh inquiries in the absence of other major exporters in the market.

The dollar has fallen to THB33.94 at 0133 GMT, its lowest level since late September 1997.

Meanwhile Thai 100% grade B was offered Thursday at $350 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $342-$346 PMT, FOB and parboiled 100% sortexed at $360 PMT, FOB. These prices are $4-$5 higher than prices offered Wednesday.
