Vietnamese government is likely to continue with its ban on new export contracts imposed since July this year in a bid to ensure domestic food security. Active trading in Vietnam is only likely to start by February or March next year.

The indicative price for Vietnam's 5% broken grade was unchanged Wednesday at $320 PMT, FOB and the 25% broken at 300 PMT, FOB.
