Thailand rice export prices ended mostly lower friday as the market watied for the government to release some of the existing stocks.

Market participants expected the Thai government to release stockpiles of around 550,000 MT in order to clear out stocks to obtain space for the upcoming paddy harvest.

Thai 100% grade B rice was offered Friday at $330-$332 PMT, FOB and 5% broken at $320-$322 PMT. These prices are $1-$2 lower from Thursday.
