Australia Gets Import Quota For Taiwan

In an agreement brokered by the World Trade Organization, Australia has been allocated a country-specific quota under Taiwan's revised rice imports program. The new country-specific quota, of 18,634 MT of rice a year,replaces a global quota for Taiwan's rice imports. Australia is one of four countries, including the U.S., Thailand and Egypt that have been allocated the new country-specific quota. |
