Chicago Board of Trade rice settled moderately lower Tuesday, dragged down by speculative selling with technical selling adding to the losses.

July rice declined 17 cents to $10.15 per hundredweight, Sep also fell 17 cents to $10.42 and Nov tumbled 16 1/2 cents to 10.72.
