The Calasparra Rice (Spain) was the first to obtained Origin Denomination at  international level. Recently a museum that shows the history of the cereal from its beginnings to the present time has been inaugurated. The museum locates in the Fertile Rice Valley Rice, in the mountainous zone that follows the course of the Segura river in the Murcian localities of Calasparra and Moratalla and also in Hellín (Albacete).
