Chile and Japan subscribed Tuesday a Free Trade Agreement which will facilitate the bilateral commercial relations between both countries.

With this new agreement, that is expected to be tested in September, Chile will be able to export to Japan a great amount of products free of tariffs, although it excludes sensible products as rice, sugar and wheat which are sensible for Japanese government.

Previously Japan signed an agreement with Mexico, effective from April of 2005. This new Treaty is the second that the Asian nation subscribes with a Latin American country.
