According to the federations and associations of farming producers, rice sector of Dominican Republic is totally recovered, thanks to the policy of the government and joint efforts between public and private sectors.

Communication between the secretary of Agriculture with rice producers and the outstanding roll of the Rice National Commission, has allowed to fortify the national rice production. Also, the National Pledge Program has meant the salvation of rice subsector with financial contributions reaching 7.000 million pesos* last year.
