As per the Agrarian Association of Young Agriculturists of Spain, (ASAJA), the Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Feeding, (MAPA) will stop the import of 100,000 MT of rice at reduced tariff.

According to ASAJA, the rice reserves of Indica and Japonica varieties and accounts more than 333,000 MT and in addition there are stocks of 500,000 MT from previous imports.
