Thai rice prices were offered unchanged at high levels Wednesday against Friday amid thin trade, supported by the strong Thai baht.

In Thailand, export supply has improved substantially in recent weeks as the harvesting of the country's second crop is now in full swing. However, while local prices are expected to fall on increased supply, the strong baht will limit the decline.

Thai 100% grade B was offered Wednesday at $332 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $324-$326 PMT; parboiled 100% sortexed was offered at $326-$332 PMT. These prices were unchanged from last Friday.
