The Valencian Association of Agriculturists (AVA-Asaja) has denounced that the Ministry of Agriculture of Spain has asked the European Commission the entrance of 100,000 MT of rough rice with reduced tariff.

The president of AVA asked to the retirement of the contingent because there are great amounts of rice stored (around the 60% of the previous campaign) waiting to be sold.
