Viet Prices Steady Thu Amid Strong Demand

In Vietnam, prices were steady Thursday courtesy of strong demand, as most exporters are trying to secure supply for their outstanding contracts.

Vietnam's 5% broken was offered steady Thursday $305 PMT, FOB, while 25% broken was offered at $285 PMT.

In other news, Vietnamese companies will sell a total of 17,050 MT of rice to Japan, the Vietnamese Trade Ministry said in a statement Thursday.
