The director of Agriculture on the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Feeding (MAP), said that at the moment will not be made rice imports until the end of the campaign.

The Spanish government will not authorize the import of 100,000 MT of rice that Puleva group proposed. After studying the situation and verify that although there has been a diminution in the sowing in some autonomic communities as Andalusia, the government has taken the decision because is not going to be a shortage in rice supplies.
