Spain: I World Rice Congress has finalized

The I World Rice Congress has finalized with a successful balance. According to the advisor of Agriculture of the Valencian Community, this Congress has supposed the opening of the native rice to the world and that the Valencian Independent Government always will support the farming of this cereal and will maintain the farming environment aids for rice dealers since it constitutes one of the signs of identity of the Community. He added that the Valencian Institute of Farm Research (IVIA), will register new rice varieties during the three next years.
