Argentina: Studies on water contamination in Argentina

In Argentina, have concluded the first stage of studies agreed between the Association Correntina of Rice Planters (ACPA) and the Institute Correntino of Water and Environment (ICAA) to determine a possible water contamination with chemistries that are used during rice farming.

According to the results of the studies the presence of agroquimics, nor of glifosato in the water was not detected. The study has been made on samples of 12,000 hectares dedicated to rice farming in Corrientes river and 800 hectares located in the Iberá Reserve.
