The Executive of the European Commission has proposed to open to the market of the UE products coming from countries of Africa, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) from 2008. The proposal that would affect all products, including the agriculturists, would reach validity after the signature of the agreement, although it would settle down a period of transition for rice and sugar.
