Chicago Board of Trade rice futures settled moderately
higher Monday at or near session highs as light speculative buying and thin
technical buy stops helped reverse modest losses set earlier.
May rice rallied 14 cents to $10.22 per hundredweight and November jumped 19
cents to $11.21.
