Thailand To Sell 900,000 MT Of Rice To Ghana, Senegal

The Thai government will sell 900,000 MT of
rice to Ghana and Senegal in the coming months, Thai Commerce Minister
Krirkkrai Jirapaet told a press conference Monday.
The deal was concluded after a recent business trip to Ghana led by Thai Deputy Commerce Minister Oranuj Osathananda.
Of the 900,000 MT, 150,000 MT of jasmine rice and 400,000 MT of
parboiled rice are for Ghana, and 350,000 MT of broken jasmine rice are for
Senegal, all for delivery this year.
