Thailand Plans Bidding Of Rice Via Agricultural Exchange

In an attempt to release its huge stocks of rice, Thailand's Commerce Ministry has said that it will open bidding for government rice via the Agricultural Futures Exchange in April.
Siripol Yodmuangchareon, director-general of the Internal Trade Department, Wednesday presented the policy and explained bidding details to government agencies and private entities.
The department is offering 150,000 MT of rice in the first lot .
