Thailand to sell 1 million MT of rice

Thailand, the world's biggest rice exporter, aims to sell one million MT of rice through government deals this year.
Late last year, Thailand sold 200,000 MT of 100 percent B grade rice to Iran in a government-to-government deal for February-May shipment, the first such Thai government deal for five years.
It was in talks with several rice importers, including Indonesia, the Philippines and Iran on government deals, officials and exporters said.
