Panama: Increase of rice price is not justified

According to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Farming Development of Panama (MIDAS), does not justify an increase in rice prices.
In agreement with Mida the provision of the cereal is guaranteed until beginning of June this year, because the present rice stocks are of almost 1.971.000 QM and is predicted the arrival of 1.4 million cwt between April 1 and May 15. According to data of MIDA, the daily national consumption of rice is of almost 16, 000 cwt.
