Mexico Announces Re-examination Of Data

Mexico will re-examine the data from the initial white rice antidumping investigation, and will solicit new information as necessary.
There will be a public hearing on October 19, 2006 to discuss the findings of the review. In the interim the current compensatory duties will not be repealed, though importers are eligible to apply for refunds if the WTO finds in favor of U.S. exporters.
