In Thailand, harvesting of the country's second crop is now in full swing and
supply available for export has increased significantly over the past few
weeks.
The prices are likely to remain at current levels
despite limited fresh demand and a weaker currency.
Thai 100% grade B was offered Wednesday at $322-$324 PMT, FOB, Bangkok, the 5% broken at $315-$317 PMT while parboiled 100% sortexed was offered at $319-$320 PMT. These prices were lower by around $4/ton from prices
offered last Friday.
