Mexico continues looking for genetic modifications in rice of the USA

The authorities of biosecurity and organisms genetically modified of Mexico assure that they continue tracking the concerned rice of the United States in search of genetic varieties that are not allowed in the country.

After the tests, they reached the conclusion that the introduced genetic modified cereal in the country does not entail risks to the health.

On the other hand, they announced that the anticipation to approve a genetic variety for his consumption in the next weeks, after a request presented by the pharmaceutical and chemical group Bayer in the 2003.
