Vietnamese rice export prices were slightly up in the week to Tuesday as local farmers forecast high global demand for rice in the coming months. In Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta region, traders quoted indicative prices for high-quality 5% broken rice at $305 PMT, down from $300 PMT last week, and 25% broken grade at $285 PMT, lower than $280 PMT last week.
