Indonesian government will resume its rice market operations here on Wednesday after it halted them for several days as floods have cut off access road to Jakarta`s Logistics Board`s warehouses.
If the floods did not recede and still cut off access to Bolog`s warehouses in Jakarta, the government would conduct the market operations with rice taken from Bolog`s stocks in Banten province.
Last Week, Bulog conducted rice market operations at PIBC and in residential areas in Jakarta, but it stopped the operations since Friday due to floods that inundated about 70 percent of Jakarta areas and cut off several sections of roads.
