Vietnamese Trade Minister Truong Dinh Tuyen on Nov. 16 held bilateral talks with his Thai counterpart, Krirk-Krai Jirapaet, to discuss trade cooperation between the two South East Asian countries, particularly in rice exports.
Minister Tuyen said at the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 18th APEC Ministerial Meeting in Hanoi, that trade ties between the two countries have experienced good development benefiting both sides.
Thailand is currently Vietnam's seventh largest trading partner, said Tuyen, adding that favourable conditions should be given to Vietnamese goods to gain more access to the Thai market.
