Dominican Republic To Fix Pending Rice Prices

According to the Secretary of Agriculture of the Dominican Republic, rice crop is nearly to begin. The government expects that rice dealers and millers will fix rice prices for the cereal with the purpose of initiating the "pledge" of the grain. Dominican Republic is the only country in Central America and Caribbean that was able to protect rice and milk during 20 years before the entrance in use of the Treaty of Free Trade Agreement (FTA).
