Dominican Rep: Agricultural bank approves loans for rice

The Agricultural bank of the Dominican Republic approved projects of loans for promotion to production, commercialization and pledge for the associations of rice producers and millers valued in 143,6* million pesos.

For the year the 2007 Agricultural bank has predicted to finance rice sector with 2.293,4 million pesos. Other federations, associations and independent rice producers divided 88,6 million pesos of financings with amounts that go from 350 thousand pesos to13 million pesos.
