Thailand Rice Export Prices Higher Wednesday

Physical rice export prices in Thailand rose Wednesday on a combination of bullish factors, including strong demand for Thai rice varieties, a stronger baht and tight supplies from other exporting rivals like Vietnam and India.


Thai 100% grade B was offered steady Wednesday at $345-$350 PMT, FOB while 5% broken was at $336-$342 PMT, FOB and parboiled 100% sortexed at $355-$360 PMT, FOB. These prices are $4-$10 higher than last Friday.
