Physical rice export prices in Thailand were mostly lower Wednesday from Friday amid thin trade as most buyers continued to resist high prices.

Thai domestic prices aren't likely to fall sharply, however, due to a government price support program for paddy.

Thai 100% grade B was offered lower Wednesday at $740-$840 PMT, FOB and 5% broken at $720-$840 PMT, FOB, while parboiled 100% sortexed was offered at $790-$900 PMT, FOB.These prices are lower by around $20 PMT from offers made Friday.
