Thailand Rice Export Prices Steady Amid Stock Release

Indicative rice export prices in Thailand were unchanged Wednesday from Friday, despite Thailand's plan to start releasing government stocks in a bid to ease the pressure of surging local prices.

Thai 100% grade B was indicated Wednesday at $1,000-$1,100 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $1,000 PMT, FOB and parboiled at $1,000-$1,200 PMT, FOB. These prices were unchanged from prices indicated Friday.
