Indicative rice export prices in Thailand rose sharply Wednesday from Friday last week, with prices being boosted by the fresh demand from the Philippines. The strong Thai baht has also provided bullish support for export prices.

Thai 100% grade B was indicated Wednesday at $580-$590 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $565-$575 PMT, FOB, and parboiled at $620-$630 PMT, FOB. These prices are higher by around $10-$20 from price indications given Friday last week.
