Vietnamese Export Prices Higher On Tight Supplies

Vietnamese rice export prices ended higher Wednesday amid tight supplies with the possibility of the Philippines buying large volumes of Vietnamese rice has also boosting prices.

The Philippines is likely to buy a total of 454,000 MT of rice from Vietnam and Thailand, based on offers made in a tender Tuesday.

Vietnam's 5% broken rice was offered $15-$20 higher at $400-$405 PMT, FOB.
