Thailand Rice Export Prices Higher On Strong Demand

Thailand rice prices were higher in the two weeks to Monday, boosted by a strong demand in the absence of other major suppliers and helped by a stronger Thai baht.

Thai 100% grade B was offered at $375-$380 PMT, FOB compared with $360-$370 PMT, FOB two weeks ago, and 5% broken at $365-$370 PMT, FOB compared with $355-$359 PMT, FOB two weeks ago. Parboiled 100% sortexed was offered $5-$10 PMT higher at $390 PMT, FOB.
