Indicative rice export prices in Vietnam were unchanged Wednesday on dwindling supplies as farmers began harvesting the main crop.

However the Vietnamese government isn't expected to lift its ban on new export contracts until early next year, when the bulk of the main crop will have hit the market.

The indicative price for Vietnam's 5% broken was unchanged Wednesday at $350 PMT, FOB while that of 25% broken was at $340 PMT, FOB.
