Thailand Rice Export Prices Mostly Higher Thursday

Physical rice export prices in Thailand were mostly higher Thursday boosted by strong demand in the absence of other suppliers in the market.

In addition to fresh demand in the market, many exporters are also busy acquiring supply to fulfill their outstanding contracts.

Thai 100% grade B was offered Thursday at $345-$350 PMT, FOB, 5% broken at $332-$340 PMT, FOB while parboiled 100% sortexed was at $347-$355 PMT, FOB. These prices are $2-$5 higher from Wednesday.
