Thailand Rice Export Prices Mostly Lower Monday

Thai rice prices ended mostly lower in the week to Monday as most buyers waited for the government to sell rice from its stocks.

The Thai government is carrying around 3.7 million MT of rice in stocks it accumulated through previous rice intervention programs.

On Monday, Thai 100% grade B was offered at $332-$333 PMT, FOB while 5% broken was at $322-$324 PMT, FOB. These prices were $1-$3 lower compared with a week ago.
